NEW! Coach Clinic

Sunday November 23
4-6pm
Rochester Rec Center

Skating skills are the foundation of hockey, yet many coaches feel unsure how to teach proper edge control, stride efficiency, and power generation. This gap impacts skill development in young players, increased injury risk, and frustration for both athletes and parents.

This is where the Hockey Power & Edge Coach Clinic comes in.

During this clinic, I’ll show you how to break down basic edge work, crossovers, turns, and power drills tailored to young players. You will leave the clinic with the tools and confidence to implement foundational edge and power development drills into your next practice, along with helpful tools like coaching tips and athlete cues.

Time to talk skating.

In consultation sessions, Coach Elizabeth meets with coaches to break down how to build organized, skill-focused lesson plans for skating development.

She can help you create stronger edgework progressions or design power skating drills to keep athletes engaged while developing a foundation in skating skills.

Elizabeth also offers insights and mentorship for figure skating coaches transitioning to hockey skating coaching— what carries over, what is different, and how to adapt your coaching to meet the needs of the players.

In-person or virtual options are available.
